Publication Ethics Statement

Jordan Journal of Economic Sciences (JJES) follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). JJES is responsible for making sure that high-quality scientific works are added to the field of scholarly publication by enforcing a rigorous peer-review process and strict ethical policies and standards. Plagiarism, falsifying data, citation manipulation, giving the wrong author credit, and other similar things do happen. These issues of publishing ethics are very important to the journal. Our editors are trained to handle them with a "zero tolerance" policy. We use Turnitin to compare the content sent to our journals with what has already been published to make sure it is original.

General Commitment

The Jordan Journal of Economic Sciences (JJES) is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. The journal only accepts original research that has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere. JJES is guided by the principles outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) (https://publicationethics.org/)  and adopts its Core Practices to ensure transparency, fairness, and accountability across all stages of publication.

Editorial Integrity and Peer Review

JJES implements a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure that all manuscripts are evaluated impartially. Reviewers receive clear guidelines to maintain high scholarly quality and ethical rigor. Every submission is assessed based on originality, methodological soundness, relevance, and contribution to the field of economic sciences.

Authors are required to sign a copyright and originality declaration confirming that their work is unique, properly cited, and free of plagiarism or copyrighted material without permission.

If instances of plagiarism, unethical use of published content, or unauthorized sharing of materials are identified, JJES will take swift legal and editorial action, which may include retraction and formal notification to the author's institution.

JJES also commits to correcting any factual errors discovered after publication. Corrections, errata, or retractions will be issued promptly, clearly marked, and linked to the original article.
