Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors must confirm that their manuscript complies with the journal’s policies and submission requirements. Submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines may be returned without review.

By submitting to the Jordan Journal of Economic Sciences (JJES), the corresponding author confirms that:

  1. Originality and Exclusive Submission
The manuscript is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

  2. Conflict of Interest and Funding Disclosure
All potential conflicts of interest have been disclosed. All sources of financial support and funding have been appropriately acknowledged.

  3. Reference Integrity
Where available, accurate and accessible URLs or DOIs have been provided for all references.

  4. Data Sharing Policy
JJES supports transparency and the responsible sharing of research data. Authors are encouraged to make data underlying the findings of the study available where appropriate.

    • Data sharing must comply with ethical, legal, and privacy requirements.

    • Where restrictions apply (e.g., confidentiality, privacy, or third-party ownership), data may be made available upon reasonable request, subject to necessary authorization.

    • In cases involving third-party data, authors must clearly state the conditions under which access may be granted and obtain appropriate permissions.

  5. Compliance with Publication Ethics and Formatting Requirements
The manuscript complies with the journal’s policies on publication ethics, copyright, authorship criteria, figure preparation, data presentation, and reference formatting.

  6. Manuscript Withdrawal Policy
If the author elects to withdraw the manuscript during or after the peer review process, the author agrees to bear the administrative and review costs in the amount of USD 200.

  7. Thesis-Derived Research
If the manuscript is derived from an unpublished thesis and includes the names of supervisors as co-authors, this has been clearly disclosed in the “Comments to the Editor” section at the time of submission.

Failure to comply with these requirements may result in delays in processing or rejection of the submission.
