Communicable Diseases in the Emirate of Transjordan in 1929-1930 Based on Reports of the Department of Health

This study reveals the health level of the population in the Emirate of Transjordan based on the statistics of communicable diseases available for 1929 and 1930 and the most important measures that the government took in the face of communicable diseases during the study period. This study provides an overview of the Department of Public Health and identifies the communicable diseases, and presents the most prominent statistics for each disease independently. This study relies on the descriptive method of historical research through an unpublished report of the Department of Public Health in the Emirate of Transjordan in 1929 and another one in 1930.
