تكشفُ هذه الدراسةُ المستوى الصحي للسًّكان في إمارة شرق الأردن خلال الفترة الزمنية (1929-1930م) من خلال إحصائيات الأمراض السارية، المتوافرة في تقريري (1929-1930م)، وأهم الإجراءات التي اتخذتها الحكومة في مواجهة هذه الأمراض خلال تلك الفترة، وتقدِّمُ هذه الدراسةُ نبذةً عامَّةً عن دائرة الصِّحة العامة، وتعرُّف الأمراض السارية، وأبرز الإحصائيات المتعلِّقة بكل مرض على حِدة. وقد اعتمدت هذه الدراسةُ على منهج البحث التاريخي الوصفي من خلال تقريرَي دائرة الصِّحة العامة في إمارة شرق الأردن غير المنشورة، وهما (عام 1929م) و (عام 1930م).
