مسوحات عام 2022 للعصور الحجريَّة القديمة في وادي الزرقاء/ الأردن

كشفت المسوحاتُ الأثريَّةُ الجديدةُ التي جرت في أعالي وادي الزرقاء في الفترة بين شهري تموز وأيلول من عام 2022م عن مواقعَ جديدةٍ تعود لزمنِ البلايستوسين المُبَكِّر والمتوسط؛ حيث توجدُ فيها تراكماتٌ وترسُّباتٌ نهريَّةٌ/ بحريَّةٌ جيولوجيَّةٌ قديمة. وقد خلصت النتائجُ إلى الآتي:
- امتداد المواقع الأثريَّة التي تعودُ إلى تشكيل دوقرة الجيولوجي (البلايستوسين المُبَكِّر) إلى المنطقة الشماليَّة من محافظة الزرقاء.
- اكتشاف سِنِّ أحدِ القوارض في طبقة تشكيل دوقرة الجيولوجي.
- تسجيل ثلاثة مواقع آشوليَّة متوسطة جديدة فيها تسلسلُ طبقات؛ مما يشيرُ إلى أنَّها تَصلُحُ لإجراء أعمال تنقيب جيولوجيٍّ/ أثريٍّ بها في المستقبل.
يشيرُ الظهورُ المتكرِّرُ لبقايا الترب القديمة (Paleosols) في تشكيل تكوينات دوقرة (البلايستوسين المُبَكِّر) وتكوينات بيرين (البلايستوسين المتوسط) الجيولوجي إلى إمكانيَّة الحصول على بقايا أثريَّة جديدة؛ مما يساعد على وضع تسلسل منطقي للتطوُّرات البيئيَّة القديمة التي حصلت في منطقة أعالي وادي الزرقاء. وبناءً عليه، فإنَّنا نطالبُ بالمحافظة على هذه المنطقة منَ العَبَثِ والتدمير، آخذينَ بعين النَّظَر أنَّها تُمَثِّلُ أقدمَ منطقة تعود لفترات العصور الحجريَّة في بلاد الشام.
