بلديَّة بيرزيت: نشأتها وتطوُّرها في أثناء الحكم الأردني 1963-1967م سجلات المجلس البلدي مصدرًا

هدف البحث إلى تقديم دراسة عن بلديَّة بيرزيت التي أُسِّست عام 1963م اعتمادًا على سجلّاتها خلال فترة الدّراسة، وذلك بالحديث عن نشأة البلديَّة وحدودها ومقرِّها وجلسات المجلس البلديِّ وموظَّفيها، وعن تنظيم مدينة بيرزيت الهيكليِّ عام 1962م وعام 1965م، وأثرهما على تطوُّر المدينة، وموقف سكانها منهم، وعن دور البلديَّة في إيصال الخدمات الأساسيَّة للمواطنين من فتح الشوارع وإيصال الكهرباء والماء إلى المدينة، والمحافظة على نظافتها ودعم التَّعليم فيها، وعن وضعها الاقتصاديّ، عبرَ الحديث عن ميزانيَّتها السَّنويَّة وإيراداتها من الرُّسوم والضَّرائب. وخلص البحثُ إلى أنَّ القوانين والأنظمة التي أصدرتها الحكومة الأردنيَّة، مثل: قانون البلديّات عام 1955م والتنظيم الهيكليِّ لمدينة بيرزيت خلال عامي 1962م 1965م، أسهمت في تنظيم عمل بلديَّة بيرزيت والنُّهوض بها؛ إذ شهدت المدنية نهضة عمرانيَّةً رافقها إيصالُ الخدمات الأساسيَّة للمواطنين كالماء والكهرباء، كذلك سيطر أبناء العائلات المسيحيَّة في بيرزيت على رئاسة المجلس البلديِّ في المدينة خلال فترة الدراسة، وَتُعَدُّ سجلّات المجلس البلديِّ مصدرًا مهمًّا يؤرِّخ للتطوُّرات التي شهدتها مدينة بيرزيت من خلال القرارات التي اتَّخذها المجلس البلديّ.
