الملخص

كانت ولادة عائلة ميتسوي ضرورةً في تطوُّر اليابان تاريخيًّا في سياق التغيُّرات في الطبقات الاجتماعيَّة، وهي عائلةٌ متخصِّصةٌ في التجارة الخارجيَّة والتمويل النقدي، وقد ساهمت في تلبية حاجات اليابان المتغيِّرة والمتطوٍّرة، حتى إنَّ الحكومة أصبحت في ذلك الوقت تعترفُ بدور طبقة التجار أكثر من ذي قبل من خلال مساهماتهم في تنمية اليابان اقتصاديًّا؛ إذ كان وضعُ البلاد غيرَ مستقرٍّ سياسيًّا، أما وضعُها الماليُّ فكان معقَّدًا من حيثُ إنَّ هناك عِملَتَيْنِ نقدِيَّتَيْنِ مُتَداوَلَتَيْنِ؛ قديمة وجديدة. وعليه، ولمَّا كانت عائلة ميتسوي محورَ هذه الدراسة، فقد اتَّخَذَت لها منهجًا رئيسًا قائمًا على أساليبَ تاريخيَّةٍ وطرائقَ منطقيَّةٍ، بَدءًا من البحث عن أصول هذه العائلة، ومرورًا على تطوُّرها وتحوُّلها مُجتَمَعِيًّا من نموذج أعمال إقطاعيٍّ إلى رأسمالي، كما وقفت الدراسةُ على طبيعة العلاقة بين الاقتصاد والقيم السياسيَّة، مُبَيِّنَةً دورَ عائلة ميتسوي، وموضِّحةً شروطَ تكوينها وخصائص ملكيَّتها وشكل إدارتها ومجالات نشاطها، وَمُحلِّلَةً -في الوقتِ نفسِهِ- دورَ هذه العائلة في تنمية اليابان خلال فترة الرأسماليَّة.
