مؤتمرات تاريخ بلاد الشام ودورها في تطور الكتابة التاريخية

انعقد مؤتمر تاريخ بلاد الشام الأول في الجامعة الأردنية في العام 1974م، وتناولت المؤتمرات اللاحقة موضوعات متعددة في تاريخ بلاد الشام عبر الحقب التاريخية المختلفة، وسلطت الضوء على جوانب متعددة في تاريخ بلاد الشام السياسي والاقتصادي والاجتماعي، ودرست تطور النظم والمؤسسات ذات الصلة ببلاد الشام في اقطارها الأربعة (الأردن، فلسطين، سوريا، لبنان)، كما شارك فيها المئات من الباحثين الذين يمثلون عددا من الجامعات والمؤسسات الأكاديمية الأردنية والعربية والعالمية. وإلى جانب المؤتمرات ونشر حصيلة أعمالها تصدت لجنة تاريخ بلاد الشام لنشر العديد من الدراسات المتخصصة، والفهارس التحليلية ذات الصلة بتاريخ بلاد الشام عموما وتاريخ الأردن خصوصا. وتحاول هذه الورقة التعريف بتلك المؤتمرات، وما نشر من دراسات متخصصة عن بلاد الشام، كما تتبع اسهامات الباحثين الأردنيين في تلك المؤتمرات، وأثر ذلك في تطور الكتابة التاريخية عن الأردن.المراجع
