تمثل مقاومة مضادات الميكروبات (AMR) مصدر قلق متزايد في جميع أنحاء العالم، لتصبح مشكلة عالمية وتهديدًا ناشئًا للصحة العامة في جميع أنحاء العالم [1-4، 6-9]. وفي عام 2001، قدمت منظمة الصحة العالمية برنامجًا لإبطاء ظهور مقاومة مضادات الميكروبات وتقليل عدد الكائنات الحية الدقيقة المقاومة، وفي عام 2012، نشرت خيارات العمل [5]. ووفقا لمنظمة الصحة العالمية، فإن "مقاومة مضادات الميكروبات هي قضية ذات أولوية عالية يجب حلها من خلال العمل العالمي الجماعي" [10، 11]. طلاب الطب هم واصفون ومشرفون محتملون لمضادات الميكروبات بعد التخرج كأطباء. ولمعالجة هذه المشكلة، من الضروري معالجتها بين طلاب الطب بنفس الطريقة في المستشفى. إن فهم معرفة طلاب الطب ومواقفهم وممارساتهم تجاه مقاومة مضادات الميكروبات أمر بالغ الأهمية في هذا السياق.
تعد المضادات الحيوية جزءًا أساسيًا من الرعاية في مجالات متعددة من الطب، كما أن زيادة الكائنات الحية الدقيقة المقاومة ترفع تكاليف العلاج الفعال وتهدد حياة المرضى بشكل عام، مما يتسبب في ارتفاع معدلات الإصابة بالمرض والوفيات. بعض الأسباب الرئيسية لمقاومة مضادات الميكروبات هي توافر المضادات الحيوية دون وصفة طبية، والتطبيب الذاتي، والاستخدام غير المناسب وغير المناسب.
الامتثال والإفراط في الوصفات الطبية من قبل الأطباء والحاجة إلى المعرفة بين السكان والمتخصصين [12-16]. الدراسات المناسبة نادرة، ولا توجد أي منها فيما يتعلق بالوضع في الأردن [17، 18]. من المرجح أن يؤثر تعليم الطلاب الجامعيين على ممارساتهم. يعد تقييم الوعي أمرًا بالغ الأهمية في الجهد العام لمواجهة انتشار مقاومة المضادات الحيوية.
تهدف دراستنا إلى تقييم المعرفة والمواقف والممارسة (KAP) فيما يتعلق بمقاومة مضادات الميكروبات والمضادات الحيوية بين طلاب الطب في الأردن بين طلاب الطب في السنوات الرابعة والخامسة والسادسة في سنواتهم السريرية في كلية الطب، جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا الأردنية، الأردن
