أثر استخدام خدمات الاتصالات عريضة النطاق على النمو الاقتصادي في بعض الدول العربية خلال الفترة (2015-2021)

الأهداف: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقييم أثر استخدام خدمات الاتصالات على النمو الاقتصادي لعيّنة من بعض الدول العربية وعددها عشر دول خلال الفترة 20015-2021
المنهجية: تستخدم الدراسة عينة زمنية مقطعية لعشر دولٍ عربية هي : الأردن ومصر وتونس والسعودية وقطر والبحرين وعُمان والإمارات والجزائر والكويت ، لقياس أثر استخدام خدمات الاتصالات عريضة النطاق على النمو الاقتصادي بواقع 70 مشاهدة، ولقياس استخدام خدمات الاتصالات عريضة النطاق ، استخدمت الدراسة مؤشر حجم البيانات التي يتم استخدامها في هذه الدول ، وهو مؤشر يعكس استخدام الأفراد لخدمات الاتصالات الثابتة والمتنقلة عريضة النطاق، وقد تمّ استخدام نموذج قياسي بناءً على نموذج سولو-سوان للنمو الاقتصادي بهدف التعرف على مرونة الإنتاج لاستخدام خدمات الاتصالات عريضة النطاق، وتم تقدير معلمات النموذج القياسي بطريقة المربعات الصغرى المعممة.
النتائج : تشير النتائجُ إلى أنّ استخدام خدمات الاتصالات لها أثر إيجابي وذو دلالة إحصائية على النمو في الناتج المحلي الإجمالي.
الخلاصة: اعتماداً على النتائج التي توصلت لها الدراسة، فقد أوصت بضرورة زيادة استخدام خدمات الاتصالات عريضة النطاق ، كما تمّ اقتراح بعض الإجراءات التي من الممكن أن تُسهم في زيادة استخدام خدمات الاتصالات وزيادة انتشارها.
